About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bridge Engineer to support our bid for a transportation project in Lesotho. The selected candidate will play a key role in the design, inspection, and maintenance of bridge structures.
Core role requirements:
Below represents the core responsibilities of this role; this is by no means an exhaustive list:
- Experience as a Bridge Engineer working in collaboration as part of a larger team is essential for this role.
- Experience related to design and construction of bridges and drainage structures.
- Maintaining a culture of continuous improvements across all aspects of the working environment and projects.
- Training will be provided to fulfil the requirements of your role, your participation to all essential training will be required.
- To ensure maximum flexibility and to reflect the Company's evolving needs, additional tasks and responsibilities will form part of this role as it evolves
Qualifications and Experience: -
- BSc (Eng) or B.Eng in. Civil Engineering;
- At least 10 years of general professional with 7 years’ experience in designing and implementing bridge or drainage structures rehabilitation.
- Competent in office packages, Microsoft, excel PowerPoint etc.
- Experience as a structural/bridge engineer on at least three successfully completed similar nature and complexity consulting assignments.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage many tasks concurrently.
- Excellent clear and concise communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
- You will have an agile and “Can Do” mindset
- Ambitions self-starter with high self-standards.
